Short version

ScreenLock the application collects nothing. No analytics, no telemetry, no network calls, no accounts. Your settings live on your Mac.

What ScreenLock the app does

ScreenLock is a macOS utility that intercepts keyboard, mouse, and trackpad events on your own computer to provide its lock feature. Those events are processed entirely on your device. They are never recorded, transmitted, or shared.

ScreenLock stores your preferences (hotkey, lock toggles, PIN, etc.) locally in macOS's standard user defaults system. Those preferences never leave your Mac.

ScreenLock requires macOS Accessibility permission solely to intercept input. It does not access, read, or transmit any other data through that permission.

What this website (screenlock.app) does

This website is a static landing page. It does not set tracking cookies or run analytics. Standard server-side request logs (IP address, user agent, request path, timestamp) may be kept by our hosting provider for a short period for operational and abuse-prevention purposes only.

Purchases (handled by Paddle)

Purchases are processed by our payment provider, Paddle.com Market Ltd ("Paddle"), acting as the Merchant of Record. When you buy ScreenLock, Paddle collects and processes the information needed to fulfill your purchase: name, email address, billing address, payment card details (handled by Paddle, never seen by us), and any tax-relevant data required in your jurisdiction.

Paddle is an independent data controller for the payment transaction. Their privacy notice applies to that processing. See paddle.com/legal/privacy.

KERIGAMI LLC receives from Paddle only the information needed to deliver your purchase and provide support — typically your email address and order number. We do not receive your full payment card details.

Support emails

If you email us for support, we'll keep that conversation only as long as needed to help you, and we won't share it with anyone outside KERIGAMI LLC.

Children

ScreenLock is marketed in part to parents, but is not directed at or sold to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that affects how your information is handled, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, post a notice on this page.
